Introduction:

Taiping Hou Kui Tea joined the celebrity circus in 1915 when it won the gold medal in Panama Pacific Exposition and became the youngest of the Chinese Top 10 Teas since then.

Its leaf measures up to 60 mm; it is the largest sized leaf tea among the famous green teas. It produced infusion with delicate orchid fragrance and a mellow taste which lasts up to four brewing. In a glass, the leaf gracefully sways in the water which is described as the ‘Phoenix dances’.

The Superfine Hou Kui Tea was produced in the area adjacent to Houkeng, the core producing area of Hou Kui Tea at the foot of Huangshan Mountain of Anhui Province.

Preparation Methods: 1. Put 2g Superfine Hou Kui Tea into a glass;
2. Pour into the glass 100ml 80°C water;
3. Brew for 1-2 minutes. One minute for delicate taste, two minutes for stronger taste;
4. The Superfine Hou Kui Tea stands up to four brewing.
Flavor \taste note: Refreshing, smooth, mellow with sweet aftertaste.
Dried leaves: Fleshy, robust, straight in pale green color, even, bright and lustrous
Liquor:

Bright, clear and transparent, with very light yellowish green color.

Brewed Tealeaves: The brewed leaves of Hou Kui Tea show a fresh, bright and even green in color. When touched with finger, the leaves are thick but soft and elastic.
