The Qimen Gift Tea- Hong Mao Feng is made of only whole leaf buds harvested before Qing Ming (early April) and is noted for a smooth and delicate flavor and typical Keemun Fragrance (祁门香）. It is named as gift tea （礼茶） because it is one of the best kinds among Qimen teas and was often used as chinese national gift for foreign dignitaries. It was said that the Qimen Hong Mao Feng was presented to Queen Victoria as the Gift Tea during Her birthday and later became one of her favorite teas.

The gift tea is fascinating while without several tastings, you aren't able to fully understand its many intricacies. Its aroma foreshadows the sugar sweet flavor that has delicate notes of violet and honey.
